Lucky Dogs Boarding is always interested in meeting dependable, motivated people who genuinely enjoy working with dogs and take pride in providing excellent animal care.
We are a professional dog boarding, grooming, and training facility serving the Magnolia, Texas area. Our team is responsible for providing a clean, safe, comfortable, and caring environment for every dog entrusted to us.
Working with dogs can be extremely rewarding, but it is also active, physical work. We are looking for team members who are reliable, attentive, comfortable working with dogs of different breeds and sizes, and willing to maintain the high standards of cleanliness and animal care our clients expect.
Pay: $12.00–$17.00 per hour
Hours: Approximately 20–40 hours per week. Part and full time position available.
Kennel Technicians are an important part of the daily operation of Lucky Dogs Boarding. This position involves direct interaction with our boarding dogs and requires someone who is comfortable working in an active kennel environment.
Applicants must have at least one year of verifiable experience working directly with dogs in a professional environment.
Qualifying experience may include:
Previous experience in dog training, grooming, veterinary care, or professional animal handling is especially valuable.
Applicants should be physically capable of standing and walking for extended periods, working indoors and outdoors, performing repetitive cleaning duties, and safely handling or lifting dogs and supplies when necessary.
Reliability and punctuality are extremely important. Our dogs depend on our staff arriving as scheduled and completing required feeding, cleaning, exercise, and care routines.
Lucky Dogs Boarding is expanding our dog training services and expects to begin hiring additional Dog Trainers in October 2026.
We will be interested in experienced trainers who can provide professional training services to both boarding clients and local dog owners.

Compensation for dog trainers will be structured as an hourly rate and/or commission, depending upon the types of training services provided, the trainer's experience, and the individual position.
Professional dog-training experience is strongly preferred. Applicants should be comfortable working independently with dogs while also communicating clearly and professionally with owners regarding training goals, techniques, and progress.
